A wounded bat! (जखमी वटवाघूळ )

While working behind our home,I found this wounded bat(जखमी वटवाघूळ ) fallen from tree.A cukoo family bird is trying to harm it,so I rescued it from bird.It trying to hind itself from me.

I sprinked some water drops on its mouth,it is a fruit eating bat. Unfortunatly,it died after 1 hour.

Insect Salute

This grass like grasshooper is found on the floor of our house.
It is hard to distinguish it from grass.It is an insect in a Salute position.In Marathi or Hindi language, it is known by "Namskar Kitak".This photo is taken when it is walking on this marraige card.

Rescue of a wounded hyna

A wounded hyna was spotted near our village Manchi(Tahsil-Sangamner,Dist-Ahmednagar).Some arrogant,cruel minded boys were trying to beat the hyna with stones.They hitted him on shoulders.So he can't stand up well.Vaibhav(my brother)and Sampat both helped him to come out of danger.After few hours,he manages to stand up on his own feet and then ran away slowly.In our region, Forest department is not so strong to educate people about how to care,conserve wildlife and forest.

Sleeping dog

Our dog 'Moti' is sleeping under the mango tree in our garden.

(Note: Sad to say, Moti(our 11 year old dog) died after a serious hurt by a careless Tempo driver in this month Nov 2011. Ohh! Our dear !)

Butterfly

A beautiful giant tiger moth is spotted on the plants of our compound.This moth stays there for a day ! Next day it disappeard.

While on a treak

While on a treak, we found the bird's eggs beside the cactus plants. In our revisit after some days,we were lucky to see baby bird also !

House sparrow babies

House sparrow babies are trying to fly from their nest in our house.They tired soon since their wings are not so strong for their first long long flight. Finally, after 3 days they made it possible.
